Sarah Geronimo clarified that Gerald Anderson gave her a Louis Vuitton dog carrier and not an expensive watch as a birthday gift. “Oo nga eh, expensive watchat mayroon pa raw expensive na bag. Hindi, walang totoo sa kahit ano na ‘yon. Pero niregaluhan niya ako ng dog carrier na Louis Vuitton,” said the PopStar Princess during the launch of Jollibee’s Jolly Crispy Fries last August 25 at Red Box Karaoke in Eastwood City, Libis.
Sarah is very attached to her Yorkshire Terrier named Cha-cha which she sometimes brings with her at work. And she appreciates that Gerald remembered that when he chose a gift for her. “Siyempre natuwa naman ako na nakaalala siya. Hindi naman niya kailangang magbigay ng regalo sa akin. Simpleng pagbati niya enough na ‘yon, pero salamat sa effortniya.”
When asked if they had the chance to catch up during the story conference of their new movie, Sarah admitted that she’s actually more comfortable with him now. “Totoo yun, mas nag-uusap na kami ngayon kaysa dati. Siguro nakatulong yung magkasama kami sa pelikula at naging successful naman yung tandem namin sa Catch Me...I’m In Love. Pero nagkamustahan lang kami nung storycon kasi ano siya noon, parang medyo pagod. At siyempre nandun pa rin yung hiya na magtanung-tanong ng iba pang bagay. So okay naman kami sa ganon.”
Although she admittedly finds Gerald attractive, Sarah insisted that it’s too early for her to say whether or not it’s possible that they would get romantically involved with each other in the future. “Eh yun naman eh hindi naman natin madidikta ‘yon. Sabi nga niya huwag nating ipilit. If it’s bound to happen, it will happen. So huwag na lang natin pangunahan.”
