Box Office: Way Back Home ng Star Cinema, #1 sa Takilya!

Sa larangan ng pagawa ng pelikula, Star Cinema pa rin ang nangunguna. Mula sa number hanggang sa huli. Saling pusa na lamang ang iba diyan.

Ang latest na pelikula ng star cinema na “Way Back Home” opened at no. 1 in the Philippines last weekend.

After Hollywood movies ruled Philippine box-office for 13 consecutive weeks, a Pinoy movie finally captured no. 1 slot and it’s the Kathryn Bernardo-Julia Montes starrer “Way Back Home.”

The Star Cinema family drama opened last weekend with a modest P18 million beating Hollywood films Conan the Barbarian and Crazy Stupid Love which also debuted in the country at no. 3 and 4 slots respectively.

Meanwhile, Transformers: Dark of the Moon became the first movie to cross the P400 million box-office gross in the country for 2011. TheMichael Bay film has grossed P415.74-M in the Philippines in 8 weeks.
