Politician and TV host Shalani Soledad got engaged to Pasig Representative Roman Romulo, confirmed by the latter in his interview with ABS-CBN News. The 41-year-old congressman proposed to the 31-year-old Valenzuela councilor/TV personality last September 14 at the Our Lady of Fatima Church in Valenzuela after just a few months of dating. The two are planning to tie the knot some time next year.

Sa January 2011 issue ng Yes Magazine, nagsalita na rin sa wakas si Shalani Soledad tungkol sa break nila ng Presidente ng Pilipinas, si Benigno "Noy Noy" Aquino na naging kasintahan niya sa loob ng dalawang taon.
