Erich Gonzales, aka Corazon, Ang Unang Aswang! is happy with the success of her movie with Derek Ramsey in the Box Office. It reportedly earned 20M after five days which is not bad considering that its a horror flick.
And since her career is going pretty okay, Maria la del Barrio was just finished, and she has a movie with Derek and another one with Mario Maurer, kamusta naman ang lovelife ng actress?
Although her love life is not her main priority right now, Erich Gonzales revealed that she’s currently dating a non-showbiz guy. She added that they’ve known each other for a long time and he understands the demands of her work. “[I’m] dating po, pero ‘pag walang trabaho, which happens sobrang minsan lang talaga. And yung taong ito matagal ko na siyang kilala. So yun, masaya lang, enjoy lang,” she told the press during the thanksgiving party of Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang last Friday, March 23.
Erich kept mum about the identity of her mystery guy, insisting that what matters is that she feels happy sans the usual complications of a steady relationship. “Sa takdang panahon [ko siya ipapakilala sa inyo]. Ha! Ha! Ha! Wala naman hong ano [inspirasyon or something serious going on between us]. Siyempre, ako ngayon gusto ko surrounded ako with people napositive, masaya lang. So, it’s important to choose the people na gusto mong makasama.”
Right after the showing of Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang, Erich said that she’ll be working on her movie with Asian heartthrob Mario Maurer very soon. “I’m very busy. After ng Corazon, nagpre-prepare kami for Suddenly It’s Magic. Ang alam ko pupunta siya (Mario) dito sa Philippines na naman. Anytime soon bibisita ulit siya.”
Erich fondly recalled her first meeting with Mario and she can’t wait to get to know him better during their scheduled shoot in Bangkok and Manila. “Di ba we met, yung dinner para ma-meet yung people from Star Cinema? When I met him, talagang napakatotoo niya, no air of celebrity. He’s very sincere, humble and charming talaga.”
Asked if they have a kissing scene in Suddenly It’s Magic, Erich simply replied, “Basta itong movie na ito napakaganda ng kwento talaga. I can’t wait na magsimula na kami. Siyempre kapag binabasa mo yung scriptiba rin yung magagawa mo. We’re all very excited talaga.”
