Thia Megia, a 15 year old Filipina who auditioned at Milwaukee is one of the strongest American Idol contender. Katunayan ay bet ito ng tatlong AI judges na sina Liv Tyler, Jennifer Lopez at Randy Jackson.

Thia Megia and co-A.I. contestant Melinda Ademi were vocal coached by someone who Ryan Seacrest calls "the vocal coach from hell."
Idol judges Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, and Steven Tyler, were a bit disappointed with Melinda's performance, while Thia gets the words "interesting," "all right," and "something special" for her rendition of "Here Comes The Sun" with Melinda.
