Beauty Pageant News: Miss Philippines, Mutya Datul, Wins Miss Supranational 2013!
Amidst the 10 Billion pork barrel controversy, one woman stole the spotlight from the infamous Janet Napoles. Philippines representative to just newly commenced Miss Supranational Pageant, a grand slam, national beauty pageant held in Minsk, Belarus last night, September 6 -Mutya Datul, snatched the coveted crown, inking her name on the history as the first Filipina and Asian to be crowned Miss Supranational.
Wow! Just Wow! Like 1969 Miss Universe Gloria Diaz, Mutya barely stands 5'6 inches tall. But she conquered Belarus and wowed the crowd with her superb catwalk, beautiful face and charming personality. Her star shone the brightest during the coronation night. Proof that Filipina beauty is indeed world class.
With Mutya's victory, Filipinos are now excited for the upcoming Miss World 2013 Pageant that is happening now in Indonesia. Philippine's bet to snatch the elusive blue crown is no other than the gorgeous Megan Young, who managed to be an early favorite in Indonesia.
Will we finally get the most elusive blue crown of Miss World through Megan? We fervently hope so! We have 100% trust with Megan. Like Mutya, she will also come home victorious. Mark our word!
