The Buzz host Boy Abunda’s first question to Krista was about the allegation that she was said to have sent provocative pictures and photos to Cesar via cellphone.
“Hindi ko po ugali mag-send ng pictures, lalong-lalo na po na walang dahilan,” Krista began. She continued that she had nothing to do with the claim that she sent out sexy pictures or even provocative text messages to Cesar. She also denied that she sent the words “I love you” to Cesar via a text message.
As for the Instagram photo that showed the chocolates, iPhone and t-shirt that Krista allegedly got from Cesar,” the aspiring actress said candidly, “I have more than five suitors na pwedeng magbigay sa akin ng mga ganong regalo. Pero may pera ako, kaya kong bumili. Tsaka hindi ko hahayaan na pababain ang sarili ko dahil lang sa iPhone 5.
She also stressed that her admiration towards Cesar does not go beyond professionalism. “He’s my director. I respect him. He loves his family. Hindi po para bigyan niya ako ng motibo, alam kong pamilyado siyang tao para magbigay din po ako ng motibo sa kanya.”
She said that she also did not feel affected by Sunshine’s post on a social networking site where she told that Krista “should have the decency to return the things that didn’t belong to her”. Krista stressed that there is no truth to the claim that she received gifts from Cesar.
She tearfully related that she got the shock of her life when this issue came up and only found out about it when her friends and family sent her text messages about the said “Instagram war”.
She continued that it is not possible for her to send text messages to Cesar because she does not have the actor’s cellphone number.
Krista assured that she has nothing to do with this controversy, which apparently is causing her heart to feel heavy. “Sumama ang loob ko, oo. Pero inisip kong maigi, inintindi kong maigi, inunawa ko siya… dapat ba akong magalit kay Sunshine, kay Cesar, sa mga tao? Dapat ba akong magalit? Tinanong ko ang sarili ko… pero, hindi, e. Bakit ako magagalit kung wala naman katotohanang lahat?” Krista justified, “Sumama lang po ang loob ko dahil sa binabato nila sa akin, sa pinagsasabi nila na di ko alam kung saan nila pinupulot ang ibang impormasyon, ultimo pati pamilya ko nadadamay na.”
As far as she is concerned, Krista said that Cesar did not give her special treatment on the set, and that he treats everyone else equally.
Boy directly asked Krista if she is attracted to Cesar. “Attractive siya, oo. Gwapo… pero hindi siya ang type ko. Oo, gwapo siya, pero hindi siya ang klase ng guy na gusto ko.”
Krista also answered that question that she and Cesar allegedly stayed in the same hotel while shooting for the movie. Krista explained that she really had no idea that Cesar was staying in the same hotel where she resided while shooting. Krista justified that it was practical to stay in the said establishment because it was nearby their locations shoots.
To be tagged as home-wrecker, kabit or maninira ng pamilya is something painful for the aspiring actress; but she said that she realizes that intrigues come with her decision to be part of showbiz. “Pangarap ko ‘to, alam ko ang inaakusa nila sa akin ’di pa ito matatapos at alam kong ’di magtatapos dito,” Krista acknowledged.
“Showbiz, magulo ‘yan… pinasok ko ‘yan, kaya tanggapin ko lahat ng pagsubok. Basta kung ano ang pangarap ko, dun lang ako.”
For his last question, Boy asked Krista why he should believe her in all this circus. Candidly, she replied, “Di ko po kayo pinipilit na paniwalaan ako o ang mga taong nanonood ngayon. Basta sa ‘kin sinasabi ko ang side ko at kung ano ang totoo.”
While hoping that she will overcome this current issue, Krista said that previous challenges she faced were far more difficult. She just hopes that she will be given the strength and courage to overcome this difficulty.
