Jason Abalos revealed that his Reputasyon co-stars, Cristine Reyes and Rayver Cruz, are very sweet off-cam. “Kakainggit nga sila eh, minsan ang sweet sa eksena. Minsan si Rayver may dalang bulaklak [para kay Cristine]. Nakakatuwa lang isipin, na ‘yung ibang artista tinatago [pero] sila hindi.”
Though he is currently single, Jason said that it is the aspect of his life that he wants to keep private. “’Yun na lang ang pwede kong itago, hangga’t maaari ayokong ipaalam sa tao,” he explained. However, he added that he will not deny if he has a girlfriend but he just does not want to go into details about his relationship. “Hangga’t maaari ayoko na rin magsinungaling kasi mahirap na pagkatapos ng nangyari sa inyo lalabas din naman. Tamang panahon lang. kung magiging kayo, magiging kayo. Maging proud na maging kayo.”
The versatile actor also stressed that he is not courting Jewel Mische. “Nabibigyan lang ng malisya pero hindi ko naman nililigawan. Kumbaga natutuwa lang na magkaibigan kami ngayon,” he said and added that Jewel has inspires him to be more spiritual.
When further prodded about why he is not yet romantically involved with anyone, Jason justified, “Hindi naman hinahanap ‘yan. In God’s will naman ibibigay naman ‘yan.” He continued that he believes that God will let him meet the right person at the right time. “Di mo alam andyan lang ‘yon hinuhubog para sa ‘yo, ‘yung mas karapat-dapat para sa ‘yo.”
At this point of his life, Jason said that he wants to be more certain about the next girl he would like to be involved with. “Kung palipat-lipat ka ng relasyon, parang nakakapagod din eh. Magbubuhos ka ng emosyon anong mangyayari? Maghihiwalay din kayo, magkakasakitan lang kayo.”
He clarified that he was not traumatized by his last relationship and he just simply wants to put everything in place. “Kumbaga umaayos lang tayo sa ngayon kasi wala akong nakikitang iba, eh.” Besides, Jason sid that his priority now is his work.
