Embroiled in controversies all, Anne Curtis, Jake Cuenca and Jericho Rosales did not balk in answering all the intrigues hurled at them recently.
After crying over losing her recently-bought amethyst ring inside an airplane, Anne happily announced that the airline has pledged to recompense more than its actual amount. “Hindi papalitan ‘yung ring but they said they will pay the same amount ng ring ko... how much the value was plus more,” she said on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Feb. 9.
Still reeling from happiness, Anne is obviously in love these days with her rumored boyfriend Erwan Heussaf. Although she refused to admit their relationship, there’s no doubt that it's Erwan that's making her heart flutter.
“I’m close to his family and he’s close to my family which is a big factor for me,” she said, adding that her sister Jasmine also approves of Erwan.
“Nu’ng hindi pa kami ni Erwan, she was one of those people who say, 'Ate siya na lang.'"
Meanwhile, Jake Cuenca has no problem with girlfriend Melissa Ricks working with Jolo Revilla, who once wooed her.
“Close friends sila ni Jolo...I trust her, she trusts me,” Jake said.
Explaining it wasn’t a date that he had with Andi Eigenmann while they were in Cebu for the Sinulog festival is Jericho Rosales.
He admitted, though, that he really met the young actress while he was in the south last month.
“Kami ni Andi Eigenmann nagkita sa isang lugar sa Cebu pero hindi kami nag-date. May mga barkada siya. Nandoon lang ako tapos nakita ko siya (na) pumasok (sa isang bar),” he said.
Now that he’s working with Anne Curtis for the second time, the first being in the movie “Baler,” Echo explained what stopped him from courting her back then.
“Kaya lang we were both ano.... healing. I believe that there’s a time for everything.”
He also noted, “Ayoko muna magsalita. Basta I’m just happy na ano...nakaka-inspire na katrabaho si Anne. There’s a reason to smile everyday. Parang ‘yung mood mo maganda, maayos, magaling, mabait, ‘di ba?”
